Photographer, professional surfer, artist, painter, reportage writer. Born in Japan. In 1989, he won the NSA All-Japan Championship, and in 1992, he finished 7th at the ASP (World Qualifying Series) Tecate Pro in Mexico. In 1994, he moved to San Clemente, California, and began taking photographs to express the charm of waves that change moment by moment through his own filters, spending his days interacting with the ocean.
